At Rocklands LLC, we stand behind the products we sell and work with manufacturers that offer quality warranties and product support. Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, product category, and intended use.
Please review the following information regarding warranty coverage and claims.
Manufacturer Warranties
Unless otherwise stated, products sold by Rocklands LLC are covered solely by the warranty provided by the original manufacturer.
Warranty coverage, duration, limitations, and claim procedures are determined by the manufacturer and may vary by product.
Examples include:
- Hand Tools
- Diagnostic Equipment
- Shop Equipment
- Tool Storage
- Air Compressors
- Lifts
- Lighting Products
- Chemicals and Lubricants
- Safety Equipment
- Automotive Service Equipment
Customers should review all warranty documentation included with the product.
Rocklands LLC Limited Warranty Disclaimer
Except where prohibited by law, Rocklands LLC does not provide any independent warranty beyond those expressly provided by the manufacturer.
All products are sold subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms, conditions, and limitations.
Rocklands LLC expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Warranty Claim Assistance
While warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer, Rocklands LLC will assist customers in identifying the appropriate warranty process whenever possible.
To initiate a warranty claim, customers should provide:
- Original order number or proof of purchase
- Product description and part number
- Serial number (if applicable)
- Detailed description of the issue
- Photographs or videos when requested
Warranty claims may require inspection, troubleshooting, or evaluation by the manufacturer before approval.
What Is Typically Covered
Warranty coverage may include:
- Manufacturing defects
- Material defects
- Workmanship defects
- Failures occurring under normal intended use
Coverage varies by manufacturer and product.
What Is Typically Not Covered
Most manufacturer warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage
- Misuse or abuse
- Improper installation
- Improper maintenance
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Accidents
- Negligence
- Commercial use where prohibited by the manufacturer
- Consumable items
- Damage caused during transportation after delivery
Customers should consult the manufacturer's warranty documentation for complete coverage details.
Lifetime Warranty Products
Certain products may carry a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.
A "Lifetime Warranty" generally refers to the warranty terms established by the manufacturer and does not necessarily mean the product is covered for the purchaser's lifetime under all circumstances.
Warranty eligibility remains subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
Diagnostic Tools & Electronic Equipment
Diagnostic tools, scan tools, electronic testing equipment, software-enabled products, flashlights and related accessories may have warranty terms that differ from standard hand tools.
Some manufacturers may require:
- Product registration
- Technical support verification
- Software updates
- Direct manufacturer involvement
Customers should review the manufacturer's documentation for specific warranty requirements.
It is often the case the manufactor will repair or replace the orginal product. If a replcement is issued, the manufacture may not honor any additional warranty.
Shop Equipment & Lifts
Shop equipment, air compressors, transmission jacks, hydraulic equipment, coolers, and vehicle lifts often carry separate warranty terms established by the manufacturer.
Installation requirements, maintenance records, and proper usage may be required for warranty eligibility.
Failure to follow manufacturer installation and maintenance requirements may void warranty coverage.
Freight Damage
Damage occurring during shipping is not considered a warranty issue.
Any shipping damage must be reported according to our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
Warranty Service Costs
Unless specifically covered by the manufacturer:
- Labor charges are not covered.
- Installation costs are not covered.
- Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered.
- Freight and shipping expenses may not be covered.
Coverage varies by manufacturer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocklands LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from product failure, warranty claims, or delays in warranty service.
