This model adds a new level of wrap around protection in a full lens magnification design. With over 50mm diameter magnifying lens, the RX500™ magnifies the entire work area. When compared to conventional bifocal design, the RX-500™ reduces eye strain and fatigue by not having magnification placed at the bottom or top of the eye wear. It increases productivity and aids in visual precision during continued close work tasks.
The RX-500™ is a Ballistic Vo rated full lens magnification safety glass. It features a 50mm diameter magnifying lens that is molded into a wrap design. The RX500™ magnifies the entire work area. It is not a bifocal and the peripheral part of the lens is not magnified. This makes it a perfect application for all vocations, including electricians, welders, mechanics, plumbers, assemblers and anyone else who needs to magnify the task at hand.
The soft flexible nose bridge and rubber temples, minimizes slippage and provides all day comfort. It is flexible and fits a variety of facial configurations very well.
Available in +0.05 and +0.75 magnification for less magnification when working at greater than normal reading distances like viewing computer terminals, process equipment and Shooting Sports.
It is also available in the standard +1.0,+1.5,+2.0 and +2.5 magnification for use .
